Program for over 10 years now. Conveniently located
just few miles from the base, thousands of families
have stayed with us for the graduation or just visiting
loved ones at the Great Lakes Naval Center.
The Recruit Training Command
at Great Lakes, IL, is one mile away at Camp Porter
Gate. If you drive you will pass through security check-point
and park in the Visitor's Center parking lot. If you
take our shuttle, you will be dropped off and picked
up in the parking lot adjacent to the Camp Porter Gate.
Our shuttle drops off guests between 6.30am and 7.30am,
and picks up between
11.00am and 12.00pm.
The Graduation Ceremony Begins at 8.45am and is usually
over by 10:30am
Graduation Drill Hall is a new building, climate controlled,
with state of the art
audio and visual billboards screens to provide you an
excellent view from any
seat. If you are unsure about your recruit's pass-in-review
ceremony, call RTC

in digital cameras and will take away disposable

If taking our
shuttle, you must come back between 11am –
12pm. Security will not allow shuttles on the
base past 12. If you drive, you can stay on longer
if you wish to wait for your recruit or socialize
with other guests. |
